Best Advice:
The key is to be flexible and open-minded. We need to be able to adapt, keep up and [remain] effective. You need to learn to be able to promote yourself. It is important for a person to be able to stand alone and be able to make it.

Passionate about:
I am passionate about seeing young people from youth groups put their best foot forward and get themselves off to a good start. There are so many young people who don’t have role models. Once they look at the point of origin within themselves, they will see that they have the tools to make it.

William P. Alfkin is a people-oriented professional with more than 35 years of professional experience. He specializes in writing and journalism, but he also acts as a catalyst motivating youth to realize and then attain their life goals. A long-standing desire to help people prompted Mr. Alfkin to pursue a career in social services and motivational coaching.

Cambridge Who's Who: What are your short-term and long-term career goals?  
WILLIAM P. ALFKIN :  My ultimate long-term goal is to write a book – it would be a phenomenal achievement. My short-term goal is to expand my motivational work internationally.

What is the most significant issue facing your profession today?
The most significant issues facing my profession have to do with politics and international trade. Things are changing so rapidly – I’ve never seen that magnitude in all my life.

Who have been your mentors or people who have greatly influenced you?
Deepak Chopra and Sri Aurobindo are two authors who have inspired me considerably.
