Biography Excerpt:
William V. Hanson, president and owner of KanOK Insurance Services, Inc., was born and raised on a diversified farm outside of Olsburg, Kansas, so his experience in the crop insurance industry should come as no surprise. In his storied career, he has served as the CED in the Riley County ASCS (now FSA) office of the United States Department of Agriculture and in various areas for the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation. Additionally, Mr. Hanson has worked as a high school teacher and a principal. He is a member of the American Association of Crop Insurers Association and a chairman of the Crop Insurance Professionals Agency, which serves as a conduit for crop insurance agencies. Additionally, Mr. Hanson conducts speaking assignments with the media and public about the regulated insurance products and other programs.
