Since starting Wechsler Consulting in 2000, chief executive officer Monica M. Wechsler has provided human resource support to numerous industries including manufacturing, hi-tech, finance, non-profit and retail. Prior contracts include Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, WAM!NET Government Services and Champion Air. She offers clients a comprehensive hub of support, which comprises benefit and compensation administration, HRIS analysis and implementation, recruitment and selection, training and development, federal regulatory compliance, head count reporting and payroll. She is also an expert about affirmative action, equal employment opportunity and family and medical leave act compliance.

     

Cambridge Who's Who: What would you like to promote most about yourself or your business?  
MONICA M WECHSLER :  My dream is to donate $1 million toward fighting cancer though financial services, human resources consulting, and modeling. I provide free financial services (total solution includes areas such as income protection, debt consolidation, mortgages, investments, and long-term care) to those in need. The human resources consulting side deals with implementation and/or setup relating to new HRMS and HRIS systems as well as acquisitions. On the modeling side, I do commercials, movies, editorial print and runway.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your career?
I help others to reach and achieve their goals; also, I help them change their lives for the better. I help develop other people so they can make more than $100,000 year when they are used to making less than $30,000 a year. I provide back to the Cancer Fund of America as well as various other charities.

What are your short-term and long-term career goals? And what specific steps have you taken toward achieving these goals?
Short-term career goals include continuing to build my business and work with global companies located in the United States. My long-term career goal is to have at least one person in each state that is in business with me, and then to expand globally.
