Biography Excerpt:
Dr. Hani Rizk Abdu has served as a preacher and philosopher of Christianity for 40 years. Known as both “The Great Guru Abdu” and “The Egyptian Sphinx,” Dr. Abdu’s scientific and philosophical knowledge was developed through his equally extensive academic career in two areas of study: science and philosophy. In 1962, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Chemistry from Alexandria University, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Psychology five years later from Cairo University. He also completed post graduate studies in forensic chemical analysis and experimental psychology, followed by a Ph.D. in Psychology in 2003, earned in the United States.

DR. HANI RIZK ABDU, “THE GREAT GURU ABDU” :  Witnessing the changes that occur to the devotees and the churches as a result of understanding and knowing The True Christian Science Bible. It is a true, honest, and perfect way for the salvation of mankind through the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

What is the most difficult obstacle or challenge you have faced in pursuit of your goals?
The most difficult challenges that face me today are the current events happening in Egypt and the Arabic countries where I teach, preach, advertise, publish and distribute my books, and give speeches through radio talk shows, TV and Internet Christian channels.

What is the most significant issue facing your profession today?
The uncovering of the too-large role of emotionalism (as opposed to true spiritualism) in modern Christianity is the most significant issue that is facing The True Christian Science thought. Once science and religion have been shown compatible by the scientific-religious studies, emotionalism can be dispensed with, and with it sects, churches, and other unnatural divisions in Christianity. And we will have the comfort of what we have needed all along: a true Christian science.
