Mohammed Habeeb Ahmed, a doctor with and director of the Center for Cardiovascular Care in San Jose, Calif., is one of the area’s leading cardiologists. With almost two decades of experience in the profession and four years in his current position, Dr. Ahmed treats patients with various heart conditions and creates individualized treatment plans for those with more critical complications. His specialty is in interventional cardiology, which is the discipline dealing with the catheter-based treatment of heart diseases. Dr. Ahmed’s personal area of expertise is more corrective than preventative, allowing him to perform procedures such as angioplasties, the correction of congenital heart defects and cardiac ablation to treat arrhythmia.
