Cambridge Who's Who:
What is your greatest professional accomplishment to date?
MS
PATRICIA
CAIN
BEYLE
: Starting [a program] with very few students at the high school in music and growing [it] upward to 250 participants. There was such satisfaction in seeing the program expand.
If you could solve one problem in the world today, what would it be?
I would push for everyone to have the ability to communicate and have tolerance with each other so that we can live in peace
What is the most significant issue facing your profession today?
We must keep music education vital, valid and available in children’s education. When I started [teaching] in 1952, one of the first objectives was to validate the subject to the Board of Education. There is still an ongoing need for validation.
