Biography Excerpt:
Susan K. Simmons is the Chief of Processing Division for the US Army’s Civilian Human Resources Agency (Southwest Operations Center). She holds more than 34 years of experience working with the US Army and worked her way up the human resource management ladder through her dedicated military service. She has been in her current position for two years and is responsible for supervising a human resources division consisting of approximately 70 employees. Additionally, she oversees human resources transactions for the southwest region, which encompasses several states, assists in the troubleshooting of complex issues, conducts employee training and ensures that all employees receive adequate training. Ms. Simmons is also an adjunct professor teaching computer technology classes at Barton County Community College.

: I would like to have lunch with L. Frank Baum, the author of Wizard of Oz and a man of incredible imagination.
How do you remain current in your profession?
I always ask questions, I never stop self-educating, I attend many seminars and I constantly seek additional training in the field.
What would you like to promote most about yourself or your business?
I would like to promote my dedication for what I do. I accomplish my professional goals with passion, commitment, integrity, a strong work ethic and fairness. Additionally, I would like to promote my longevity within my profession.
