Biography Excerpt:
Catherine Adele Hunt, Ph.D. is a licensed occupational therapist with more than 26 years of professional experience. A pioneer in her field, she was responsible for the original implementation of an occupational therapy program in geriatrics. Peers, patients and mentees alike call her a compassionate and forward-thinking professional. Her method of treatment is firmly built on a foundation of patient advocacy and care giving. And like strong pillars supporting a solid structure, she attributes her success to her education, perseverance, the support she received from her family and her ability to take advantage of unique opportunities that came her way. She works to help others achieve their highest potential by overseeing individualized business and education projects, functioning as a consultant in the field of occupational therapy, and participating in adult education and research initiatives.
