Charles W. Townsend, MD, ABFP, FAAFP, is a physician for Edmonton Primary Care. He is a proven leader in the healthcare industry with more than 41 years of professional experience. He is an expert in workers’ compensation healthcare and has provided his services as far as Alaska, where he worked for 25 years as a primary care physician. Dr. Townsend fulfilled his residency from 1966 to 1968 at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He received an MD in 1966 from Indiana University and a bachelor of arts in German, biology, chemistry and physics in 1962. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the Southern Medical Association. He is a diplomat and fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Townsend likes to hunt and fish.

Medical school, where we started out with 250 people and graduated with 119.

Yes, I speak seven languages. I have doctored in Russia.
