Cambridge Who's Who:
What would you like to promote most about yourself or your business?
MAUREEN
E
WILSON
: I have two books I’m hoping to get published. One is called “Tail Feathers,” which is actual stories about wild peacocks that live here in the area. The second one, which is older and bigger with lots of chapters, contains real-life escapades of our sons. I had the boys read it to make sure they wouldn’t get embarrassed. We’ve all been in the Walt Disney movie, “The Big Green” [1995], which featured Steve Guttenberg.
What about your long-term goals?
I’d like to write more and publish more of my work. My imagination abounds. I hope to continue in my “Tail Feathers” series for parents to read with their children.
What is the most significant issue facing your profession today?
People don’t read as much. Children don’t read. Parents don’t read to their children. I’d like to see people who are bombarded with electronic media and entertainment take a break and read some words written on paper.
