Biography Excerpt:
Marijuana is known as the most widely used banned substance in the world. Because it is prone to abuse, its champions have had a difficult time convincing the general public of its medical benefits — this despite the testimonials of modern scientists and countless patients who have personally experienced its remedial effects on symptoms associated with conditions from arthritis to cancer. To industry innovator Dr. Moe Afaneh, this uphill battle is no deterrent. He is actively involved with no fewer than nine companies in the medical marijuana field, and is continuously on the lookout for new opportunities.
