Best Advice:
I would tell them to look at the final goal, which is changing people’s health and people lives. Health is something very important for each of us, so changing people’s health translates to making a difference for each individual. The journey is very exciting because you learn so much.

Passionate about:
I am passionate about learning things and thinking outside of the box. I enjoy bridging ideas. I also like nature and animals.

Biography Excerpt:
Clinical pharmacology is a challenging field where, at any given time, intense research and development determines the next generation of drugs that will be used by entire populations. As a seasoned clinical pharmacologist with more than 28 years of experience, Anne J. Paccaly treasures the opportunity she has to share her creative vision with others while having a hand at improving human health. As director of the CV/NS Strategic Modeling and Simulation Group within Bristol-Myers Squibb’s Discovery Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology department, she focuses on translational medicine: an emerging perspective that combines clinical research, basic science exploration and cultural studies in order to determine the nature of health issues and provide practical solutions.

Cambridge Who's Who: What would you like to promote most about yourself or your business?  
ANNE J. PACCALY :  I would like to promote my commitment to improving people’s lives, in my neighborhood and globally. I would also like to promote my scientific expertise within my workplace, to reinforce and implement the new learn and confirm drug development paradigm.

What is your greatest professional accomplishment to date?
My biggest achievement was evolving in my career while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. I was also able to do community work while in my career.

What makes you a valuable resource in your industry?
My multidisciplinary scientific training and expertise in conjunction with my eagerness to work and interact with people (teamwork).
